The team
Club GVNR is run entirely by volunteers. Nobody here is paid. These are the five people who keep it going.
2021 to today
Club GVNR started in 2021 with three friends, a console and a spare front room. They still run it.
Co-founder and Co-Chair
Ebenezer was one of the three friends meeting to play games in 2021, before any of this had a name. As one of the club's three co-chairs he shares responsibility for how Club GVNR is run and where it goes next.
Co-founder and Co-Chair
Omari has been part of Club GVNR since the beginning, and helped turn a standing arrangement between friends into something with a name, a day and an open door. He shares the chair with Ebenezer and Malik.

Malik was there for the first sessions in 2021 and for every stage since. As a co-chair he shares responsibility for the club's decisions, its direction, and the culture that keeps people coming back.
Week to week
As the club has grown, members have taken on the work of keeping it going. These are the people you'll see setting the room up, running the bracket, welcoming someone through the door on their first Saturday and staying behind at the end to clear up.
Secretary
Erin keeps the club organised: sessions arranged, people told, details followed up. If a Saturday runs smoothly, it's usually because somebody did the unglamorous work in advance.
Organiser
Courtney helps run the club day to day, organising sessions and making sure new people are expected and welcomed rather than left to work it out for themselves.
Most of the people on this page started by turning up to play.
